September Lunch and Learn is this Thursday, Sept 25th

Join us for lunch and a special presentation with Paul Simoneau, Vice Chancellor for the Diocese of Knoxville, and interim secretary to the Bishop.
The topic is “Baptism and the Mass We Must Live.” Though we often consider Baptism and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass as distinct sacraments, they are deeply and mysteriously united. Both carry profound nuptial and sacrificial dimensions: in Baptism we are espoused to Christ, clothed in His life, and in the Mass that covenantal union in the sacrifice we make of ourselves is renewed and offered back to the Father, “Through Christ, with Him and in Him.” Come and be enriched in your understanding of how these sacraments form not only our identity as Christians (and brides of Christ), but also the very pattern of life we are called to live each day – sacrificially.
Bring your bag-lunch and come meet other parishioners while learn some interesting truths about our faith.
