Just a friendly reminder that the next Lunch and Learn is this Thursday in the youth room from 11:30-1. Bring your lunch and join us for a very informative talk on St. Mary’s Legacy Clinic. Marin Vargas and 3 of his associates will be here to tell us all about the great work that they do in our diocese. One of our parishioners, Mary Serbin, is involved with this great program and will be there too.
Please Note: If the weather does not cooperate and we have to cancel, there will be an announcement on My Parish App and I will send out via this email as well.
If you are planning ahead, next month’s Lunch and Learn will be on Thursday March 13, and we will have Deacon Bob Hunt from All Saints’ Church in Knoxville. You may recognize the name because he is a contributing writer for the East TN Catholic. He will be educating us on the Council of Nicea and the creed. This is the 1700th anniversary of the council first meeting.
On another note, our next Tuesday morning Bible Study which will coincide with Lent, will be 33 Days to Merciful Love. The book and video study will begin on Tuesday, March 11 and go for 6 weeks. This is a study by Fr. Michael Gaitley from Marian Press. The cost of the study will be $14.
Please let me know if you are interested in participating in the study so I can order the books.
