Between recommendations from the diocese and local organizations that have systems in place to distribute items to those effected by the wrath of the storm, here are some options to assist our neighbors in need.
1. Prayers – please pray for the many people who are suffering as they deal with financial issues, loss of loved ones and/or property.
2. A 2nd collection will be taken-up this coming weekend Oct 5 & 6 to go to Catholic Charities in Knoxville for the purpose of serving the needs of East TN.
3. “God’s Warehouse” is a local distribution center in Morristown serving all the area counties and is also collaborating with Food on Foot. See list below.
BRING ITEMS TO ST PATRICK CHURCH– we will make an appointment & transport it to God’s Warehouse with the assistance of parishioners that have trucks or SUV’s.
