Remembering Pope Emeritus Benedict.
Bishop Stika wants us to know that a diocesan Mass of Remembrance will be celebrated this Wednesday evening at 7 pm at the Cathedral. All are invited to attend.
Also, for Thursday morning Mass, January 5, St Patrick will use the orations for a deceased Pope along with the readings of the day. And, so that our community may have the opportunity to pray for the Holy Father, the Bishop has issued a decree that all Masses in the Diocese of Knoxville, over the weekend of January 14-15 will use the Orations for a deceased Pope.
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Pope Emeritus Benedict.

El Obispo Stika quiere que sepamos que se celebrará una Misa diocesana de recuerdo este miércoles por la tarde a las 19:00 en la Catedral. Todos están invitados a asistir.
Además, para la misa del jueves 5 de enero por la mañana, San Patricio utilizará las oraciones por un Papa fallecido junto con las lecturas del día. Y, para que nuestra comunidad pueda tener la oportunidad de orar por el Santo Padre, el Obispo ha emitido un decreto que todas las misas en la Diócesis de Knoxville, durante el fin de semana del 14-15 de enero se utilizarán las Oraciones por un Papa difunto.
